Citizenship
Classes
Citizenship classes provide
students with knowledge of United States history and
government; they are also designed to assist eligible
individuals to become United States citizens. |

Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant Program is
to prepare students for employment in today’s modern medical
office setting. Students will learn to assist physicians
during examination and treatment and perform a variety of
laboratory and clinical procedures. Students will also
learn medical insurance billing, medical office procedures,
keyboarding and word processing. |

Phlebotomy Tech/Lab Assistant
Students will learn the art
of drawing blood, blood testing and methods of specimen
collection such as urinalysis and other body fluid for
examination. Also students will gain the ability to develop
the skills necessary to promote laboratory safety and HIPAA
compliance |

EKG Technician
Students will learn how to
perform, read and understand EKG/ECG procedures used to
trace the electrical activity of the heart. |

Medical Billing & Coding
Students will learn how to
process health insurance claims and use ICD 9 and CPT coding
manuals in relationship to medical billing and claims
processing. |

Medical Transcription Program
To prepare
students to become Medical Transcriptionists, by training them with the essential
tools in all aspects of the medical transcription field.
Students will learn essential information on formats for
transcribing letters, chart notes, emergency room notes,
history and physical examinations, operative and specialty
reports, and the various types of equipments used, including
speech recognition technology. |
